Carole N. Griffin, a real estate veteran with over 16 years experience
in Harlem founded The Griffin Real Estate Group (GREG) in 2000 as the only development marketing
group based in Harlem. As a well-respected, long-term member of the Harlem community,
Ms. Griffin is
not only supremely knowledgeable about the nuances of Harlem's residential market, but also particularly
passionate in her advocacy for its residents. Today, as interest in the historic neighborhood continues
to skyrocket, GREG remains the largest and longest standing development marketer in Harlem for both
market rate and subsidized developments.
Prior to establishing GREG, Ms. Griffin enjoyed a 10-year stint as Marketing Director of the
Harlem Community Development Corporation (HCDC), cultivating a vision for marketing affordable
home ownership that has developed alongside today's market-rate housing renaissance. From 1989
to 2000 she was either responsible for sales of, or contributed technical assistance toward development of,

every affordable residential develop-ment in Harlem.
In 2000, Ms. Griffin secured one of GREG's most significant engagements,
1400 on Fifth, a $40 million, 128-unit residential and retail development in Harlem. This project was 25% market-rate
and the first affordable 'green' condominium building in the country, billed as "Smart, Green, and Just Plain Fabulous!"
Since then, GREG has enjoyed peerless success with its exclusive representation of the largest and most prestigious
condominium and townhome developments in Harlem, including the 170-unit Strivers Gardens Condominium.
Ms. Griffin began GREG with a specialization in marketing subsidized
condominiums, after over a decade of working at HCDC with developers and residents in Harlem's heavily subsidized
housing market. As a huge proponent of first-time home ownership, Ms. Griffin and GREG continue to pioneer the
homeownership market in Harlem
Ms. Griffin is a member in good standing of the National Association
of Realtors, the Real Estate Board of New York, African American Real Estate Professionals of New York, the Greater
Harlem Real Estate Board, The Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce and the Harlem Business Alliance.
